iDocQ 2015: Fifth Information Science Doctoral Colloquium

Since 2011 the partner universities of the ESRC Scottish Graduate School of Social Science information science pathway have hosted an annual doctoral colloquium (iDocQ). This is aimed at students studying for PhDs in information science and other related disciplines. Attendance is free of charge (including refreshments).
This year’s event (the fifth in the series) takes place on Monday 22nd June 2015 at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. The event is suitable for doctoral students at all stages of their studies and will offer attendees the opportunity to showcase their work to leading academics, researchers and other doctoral candidates.
The 2015 programme will include:
- A keynote presentation
- One Minute Madness presentations – with a prize for the best
- Break-out sessions for different stages of the doctoral journey
- Question Time, where a panel will answer a wide range of questions around PhDs submitted anonymously by the student delegates
